The start of it all
In 2020, the idea arose to create a classic sneaker with a classic look, without compromising on comfort or quality.
In the summer of 2020, we launched our first range, which consisted of the iconic white and black leather sneaker with a white sole: Essential White and Essential Black .
This first production was delivered to our then protected small warehouse in Aalborg.
First physical store
During 2021, we continued development with our first sneakers in suede and simultaneously opened our first physical store in the heart of Aalborg.
We have since moved to larger premises, and are now located at Østerågade 4C - right in the center of Aalborg.
Lion's den
2021 was also the year in which we participated in Løvens Hule and secured an investment from Christian Arnstedt.
Our participation in the program marked a milestone in our journey and has had a significant impact on our development.
Our first collaboration
In 2022, we could unveil our very first collaboration. Namely our collab with the well-known brewery Anarkist.
Together we made a sneaker adorned with cool motifs from Anarkist's labels.
Since then we have entered into collaborations with several different brands and personalities such as: Hornsleth, KiMs and Aalborg Karneval .
Opening of a new store
In 2023, we finally moved into our new premises at Østerågade 4C Aalborg - one of the most attractive locations in Aalborg.
The store functions as both our office and showroom - because even though we are primarily an E-commerce webshop, we like to have customer contact and/or to be able to help you with sizes - or if you just want to try our shoes.
Expansion of our range
In 2023, we also expanded our range. From the classic essential sneaker, you could now find a classic sneaker with a slightly more "sporty look". It became the sneaker we call "low sneaker" - which, by the way, are also some of our most popular sneakers!
Biggest collaboration to date
In the spring of 2024, we could reveal the collaboration with Nicklas Bendtner himself!
The collaboration had been a long time coming, and Nicklas was involved throughout the entire design process, to put his personal touch on the collection.
